By Kehinde AjoseNollywood actresses cum singer, Dayo Amusa seems not to be slowing down on her quest to make it big in the music
industry. The Aye mi singer who recently collaborated with Oritsefemi joined the list of Nigerian musicians who have done covers for Adele’s Hello. Her version of Hello has a waka twist to it that reminds one of Salawa Abeni.

Dayo’s cover seems not to go down well with some of her fans as they have taken to various social media platforms to express their dissatisfaction. One of the fans, Mary Jane, puts it this way: “I appreciate local but this is just trashy and an insult on Adele’s music.”
Another of her fans puts it this way: “People need to accept that they can’t do everything like Dayo, I enjoy your movies , please you are not a musician and you murdered this song.
In addition, Segun Odejimi in his article further states his displeasure: “The world has been forgiving you for your previous crimes against music. There was one you committed recently with Oritsefemi. But, how can you expect us to just listen to your vocal assault on aunty Adele and move on as if nothing happened? What came over you? Was it some fever? Why didn’t you call your doctor?”
Recall that a plethora of Nigerian artistes like Ruby, Omawunmi, Samklef, Praiz, and Yemi Sax had done their own covers of Adele’s Hello.
