Armed robbers hit Lagos State bank, move towards Igando by sea

A band of armed robbers struck at a bank in Agbara, Lagos State in the early hours ofThursday morning.

The robbers, dressed in Nigerian Army uniform, struck almost as the bank was opening for business.
However, before the police could respond to the distress call by the staff and customers of the bank, the robbers had taken off by sea.
A police officer in the area said they are heading through the canal towards Totowu in Igando area of Lagos State, still dressed in the military uniform they wore when they attacked the bank in Agbara.
